6 Months!


Ellis Jack at 6 months:
- About 25 1/2 inches & 15 pounds
- Only 10th % in height & weight (not worried though, mommy was even smaller)
- Smiles & babbles a lot, a little flirt too
- He reached out for me the first time the other day!
- Rolling over from back to front well, but has a little trouble from front to back
- Doesn't like tummy time
- Can sit up by himself using his hands for support for about 30 seconds
- He went through a bad regression & he woke up almost every 3 hours during the night for about 6 weeks, but finally doing better 
- Sleeping in his crib every night, usually one 5-7 hour stretch   & then about a 3-4 hour stretch
- Wearing 3-6 & 6 mos clothing
- Still breast feeding, we tried rice cereal, but he didn't care for it
- Going to start trying vegetables next week, I'm going to attempt making it myself, we'll see how it goes
- He is so sweet & cuddly, but still can be a little particular about things
- Loves being outside
- Likes playing with his toys & being entertained by his friends Beau & Bax
- Grabs for things, chews on everything & drools a lot (might be teething)
- Loves bright lights & will turn his head & stare at the tv, phone, or iPad 
- Loves music & being sung to


















Ellis, you're such a blessing & we love you so much!  You're the sweetest & cutest thing and you fill our lives with so much joy!

5 Months!


Ellis Jack at 5 Months:
-  About 14 1/2 lbs and 25 inches
-  Puts everything in his mouth & drools a lot (might be teething soon?)
-  Likes to grab everything in reach
- Likes to watch t.v. 
-  Likes playing with his toys and looking at books
- Talks & giggles a lot
- Can be particular & high maintenance 
- Smiles a lot, especially at mommy!
- Likes music & seems to sing to himself sometimes when tired
- Very observant 
- Sleeping in his room in crib & rock and play
- Can put his paci in his mouth now, but likes to pull it out too
- Likes to stand on your lap & try to jump with feet
- Not a good sleeper, but getting better
- Makes funny noises & spit bubbles













We love you so much Ellis!  You have the most beautiful blue eyes, long eyelashes and pouty lips!

4 Months!



Ellis at 4 months:
- About 25 inches & 14 pounds (43% height & 19% weight)
- Fits into most of his 0-3 mos clothes, all 3 mos and some 3-6 mos clothes 
- Still breastfeeding wanting to eat about every 2-3 hours
- Currently battling the 4 month regression, it's tough but getting better
- We're also transitioning him to his crib in his room & he's doing pretty well!
- He is very observant and really looks at things
- He has a strong grip and can hold things 
- Likes to play more & enjoys his play mat with toys, bumbo and exersaucer
- Likes to watch & play with his friends Beau and Bax
- Likes to go on morning walks with his friends & Honey & Auntie
- Loves his hands & likes to suck on them
- Puts everything in his mouth
- Loves to kick his feet and his covers off
- Coos and talks a lot & very verbal at letting us know when he wants or needs something
- Loves being rocked & held
- Likes his sound machine & music
- Smiles a lot & is a little flirt
- Hates when he is wet or dirty
- Very expressive & makes the cutest and funniest faces
- Holding head up very well 
- Likes to stand in our lap and jump with legs
