4 Months!

Ellis at 4 months:

- About 25 inches & 14 pounds (43% height & 19% weight)
- Fits into most of his 0-3 mos clothes, all 3 mos and some 3-6 mos clothes 

- Still breastfeeding wanting to eat about every 2-3 hours
- Currently battling the 4 month regression, it's tough but getting better
- We're also transitioning him to his crib in his room & he's doing pretty well!
- He is very observant and really looks at things
- He has a strong grip and can hold things 
- Likes to play more & enjoys his play mat with toys, bumbo and exersaucer
- Likes to watch & play with his friends Beau and Bax
- Likes to go on morning walks with his friends & Honey & Auntie
- Loves his hands & likes to suck on them
- Puts everything in his mouth
- Loves to kick his feet and his covers off
- Coos and talks a lot & very verbal at letting us know when he wants or needs something
- Loves being rocked & held
- Likes his sound machine & music
- Smiles a lot & is a little flirt
- Hates when he is wet or dirty
- Very expressive & makes the cutest and funniest faces
- Holding head up very well 
- Likes to stand in our lap and jump with legs

3 Months!

 

Ellis at 3 Months:

- About 24 inches & 13 pounds

- Loves being held & rocked 

- Starting to really coo & talk

- Smiles a lot & giggles some too

- Love his long pretty eyelashes

- Likes looking at himself in the mirror

- Plays longer amounts of time on his play mat

- Hits at toys & grabs things

- He is a little wiggle worm & loves to kick
- Still loves his paci, only uses mam
- Brings hands to mouth now & sucks on them

- He is very vocal & lets you know when he needs something
- Likes his swing

- Still nursing about the same, every 2-3 hours, except for one  5 hour stretch at night

- Hates his car seat, but does okay as long as we're moving

- Started making a clicking noise, with his mouth, and sometimes copies us if we do it

- Holding his head up pretty well

- Very expressive & makes the cutest & funniest faces
- Doesn't do very well anymore, when we take him out to lunch or something & usually ends up crying and wants to be held 
- Still sleeping in rock & play, by our bed

2 Months!

Ellis was 2 months old on July 15!  

I can't believe my sweet baby is getting so big!

Poor baby had to get 3 shots and he did not like it!  

All about Ellis at 2 Months!

- 22 1/4 inches

- Weighs 11 lbs 15 oz

- 28% height, 40% weight & 48% head

- Starting to coo & baby talk

- Stares at faces, open and closes hands, kicks feet

- Has rolled from tummy to back a few times

- Smiles a lot

- Pretty spoiled, likes to be held and rocked ALL the time

- Nurses every 2 to 3 hours most of the time, but has been going on one 5 hour stretch during the night

- Starting to play more & enjoys laying on play mat & hitting toys 

- Likes his paci, but constantly spits it out & we have to help him put it back in his mouth 

- Sleeps in his rock & play during the night, next to our bed

- Doesn't like to lay still in pack-n-play, has to be in a swing, bouncer or rocker moving 

- Does pretty well when I take him out to eat or shopping, but sometimes gets fussy
